About & Approach
This page provides context on who I am, how I think, and how I approach coaching, advisory, mentoring, and health-focused work. It is intended to complement the service pages by offering background, credibility, and perspective—rather than repeating service descriptions or pricing.
The focus here is on approach, experience, and philosophy, so prospective clients can better assess fit before engaging in a specific service.
Who I Work With
I work with adults who want clarity, progress, and sustainable change in their careers, health, or life direction—without hype, pressure, or one-size-fits-all solutions.
Most of my clients include:
Mid-career or senior professionals navigating change, uncertainty, or complexity
Individuals seeking clarity and structure during personal or professional transitions
Clients who value thoughtful guidance, accountability, and realism
People who want progress they can sustain—not short-term fixes
Individuals who are overweight or managing health-related challenges and are seeking sustainable weight loss or health coaching support
Clients typically come to me when they want a trusted partner to help them think clearly, make intentional decisions, and move forward with confidence.

Experience & Professional Background
My coaching approach is shaped by a long career working in structured, high accountability environments where clarity, judgment, and execution matter.
I bring:
Decades of professional experience across engineering, operations, and healthcare environments, supporting complex improvement efforts, systems thinking, and execution at scale
Formal certification as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, with deep experience in systems thinking, process improvement, and performance optimization
Experience serving as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in high-stakes environments
Health coaching training and certification through OPTAVIA, in partnership with the MacDonald Center for Obesity Prevention and Education (COPE) and the M. Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing at Villanova University
Alignment with evidence-based lifestyle medicine principles, including those promoted by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM)
This background informs how I work with clients—helping them recognize patterns, clarify tradeoffs, and translate insight into sustainable action.
Coaching Philosophy
My work is grounded in a simple belief:
Sustainable change happens when insight, structure, and behavior align.
I do not rely on rigid formulas, motivational hype, or prescriptive paths.
Clarify what matters most right now
Understand real-world constraints (time, health, energy, finances)
Instead, I help clients:
Make thoughtful, realistic decisions
Take consistent action over time
Whether the focus is career, health, or life direction, the goal is progress that fits real life—not an idealized version of it.
Structure Without Rigidity
While each engagement is personalized, much of my work is guided by a Personal Development Plan (PDP) mindset.
In practice, this means helping clients:
Define meaningful goals and priorities
Assess current reality honestly
Explore options and tradeoffs
Sequence actions intentionally rather than reactively
Maintain accountability and follow-through
The PDP provides structure to support progress without boxing clients into rigid frameworks.
Health, Career, and Life Are Connected
Although services are clearly defined, I do not view health, career, and life as isolated domains.
Career stress affects health.
Health challenges affect confidence and decision-making.
Life transitions often involve changes across multiple areas.
My role is to help clients see these connections and make progress where it matters most—without trying to change everything at once.
What It’s Like to Work Together
Across all services, clients can expect:
My style is calm, structured, and realistic—supportive without being prescriptive.

Relationship to Other Pages
This page is intended to complement—not replace—the individual service pages.
Service pages provide detailed information on scope, inclusions, boundaries, and engagement structure.
This page provides context on background, approach, and philosophy. Prospective clients are encouraged to review both when evaluating fit.
How to Get Started
The appropriate starting point depends on your needs:
Career & Life Coaching: begin with a session
Strategic Advisory or Mentoring: start with a conversation to assess fit
Health Coaching: begin with the required onboarding package
Each service has a defined entry point designed to support clarity and alignment from the start.
There is no obligation to continue beyond the session
